"Fashion Is Never Comfortable" Anna Dello Russo for H&M

Soon to come accessories collaboration between Anna Dello Russo and H&M is grabbing attention after an unforgettable launch party at infamous cabaret nightclub Paradis Latin during Paris Fashion Week. With the guest list filled with the biggest names in fashion such as Olivier Theyskens, runway hit Azealia Banks and models Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss to name a few, everyone remembered it as one of the biggest parties in fashion (props for ADRs grand entrance descending in a heart-shaped swing in a body fitting turquoise dress). With her fascination towards maximalist dressing, the accessories mostly highlighted her baroque style and her love for unabashed in-your-face bling. While it may not be for everyone, you can't help but take a second look at her catchy "fashion shower" promotional video above.

Fendi S/S 2013 RTW

Shoes and bags are all a girl needs. For Fendi, the bar is set so high you never know where to look (see what I did there?). First the eyes: not only was the eyewear paired well with the graphic retro vibe, they also matched the makeup done by Peter Philips. Known for being experimental, Philips used pre-cut fabric swatches on the lower eyelids as a reference to the colours used in the collection. Pure genius.

The accessories this season were to die for. The bag that really caught my eye was the graphic leather tote which had plastic sides. Also worth noting are the shoes by Nicholas Kirkwood. Of course, there were also the clothes that seem to get better every season. Three dimensional cuboid prints à la Pierre Hardy featured on many of the clothes. Towards the end, the graphic-ness exploded into a celebration of colour and fabric which reminded me of Damien Hirst's spin paintings. A great show indeed.

Now come the sequins...

LFW S/S 2013 RTW Highlights

Just one look at Matthew Williamson's invitation card makes me anticipate his collection even more. Luckily for us, it lived up to its expectations by producing a youthful collection of flowy ink dyed dress in a bright palette of colours. The first look with the "dyed" jacket is a must have.

Mary Katrantzou used to be one of my favourite designers until she  kept to her repetitive prints and simple tailoring. However, there is one standout piece this season that I love and it's a simple blue jacket and pants ensemble with a hint of what Katrantzou is famous for. Perhaps a little restraint would allow for another Katrantzou revolution.

Cool metallics from Jonathan Saunders.

Acne belted jacket and tie-die draped skirt. Another must have.

And last but not least, Peter Pilotto's infamous prints combined with their ingenious tailoring.
