FASHION | Henry Holland "Mr Quiffy" x Liger

As a perpetuator of polka dots and all things bright and colourful, the master of prints Henry Holland made his presence at Liger to present his new capsule collection named "Mr Quiffy" a couple of weeks ago. It doesn't take much to wonder how he came up with such a name. One thing's for sure however, it's pretty hard to miss...
Styled with soft serve ice cream as his main motif, Holland is a genius for introducing a new "on-the-go" concept to high fashion marketing. With his ice cream truck (currently a replica of the real truck) making rounds across London and Manchester, it's a clever marketing gimmick that is bound to catch anyone's attention.

FASHION | Damien Hirst's scarf collaboration with Alexander McQueen "...a marriage made in Heaven"

Alexander McQueen presents an exclusive collaboration with renowned conceptual artist Damien Hirst to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its iconic scull scarves. In a 30-piece collection, Hirst combines his dark vision that revolves around his entomology series with McQueen's gothic aesthetic.

It hasn't been the first time butterflies have appeared at the British fashion marque. In another famous collaboration with British milliner Phillip Treacy, Alexander McQueen presented a hat covered in butterflies for his Fall 2013 collection. At the helm of Sarah Burton, the house of McQueen looked back at their archives and appropriated the butterfly motif onto their dresses for Spring 2011.

FASHION | Behind the Scenes with Polina and Skene [Part 1]

I was given the chance to collaborate with two emerging fashion photographers Polina & Skene over the summer on a fun espionage inspired photoshoot. In a special 2 part series, this post will be a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into an editorial (blood, sweat and tears not included).
Sam, our fun and fierce model for the day, got vamped up with a sexy smoky eye for our espionage inspired photoshoot. It was definitely a good learning curve for me to try my hand at being a stylist. After all, it's not everyday that you get to do something interesting with your life...
