Fei Fei Sun has now become the first Asian woman on the cover, yes I repeat COVER, of Vogue Italia. While French Vogue was the first European magazine to include an Asian model (Du Juan) on its cover in 2011, it's a step towards the rising recognition of Asian models in the fashion industry. Shot by fashion photographer Steven Meisel, this editorial has got a great "Paris of the East" vibe to it with a nod to Shanghai's heyday as an art deco playground for the West.
