Street Style Saturday's | How it's done in London...

Print, stripes and polka dots!

It's amazing how this seemingly jarring combination comes together in this woman's outfit. Perhaps it was her nonchalant attitude and a certain je ne sais quoi...
I rarely pick up on makeup but when I do, it's usually because it does the job of bringing out their natural features. It's self-contradictory I know, but the right amount usually helps "sharpen" things like cheekbones and eyes. Caking on foundation is a definite faux pas asking for a slap on the face. A touch of blush and a little contouring goes a long way to achieve the natural doll-like appearance like the one above.
Also worth noting is her choice in accessories. Her camo print watch, numerous rings and bracelets all give a touch of quirkiness that goes perfectly with her mishmash of prints. I particularly love her cute little phone pouch with a print inspired by vintage comic book strips.
And while most people start neglecting what they wear from the knee down, this lady decides to spice it up with an eccentric pair of polka dot socks. A very quirky, Henry Holland-esque touch I must say! This ladies and gentleman, is how it's done in London...
