STYLE | [OOTD] Rooftops, Ruffles and Beyond

Looking back, it's been a 2 month hiatus since my last post on Cut & Copy. With all the projects and collaborations I've been involved in, I was able to visit a side of fashion that I've always wanted to experience more of. While I'm happy to announce that this blog is up and running again, I'm also continuously expanding my styling portfolio with talented photographers, makeup artists and models in Hong Kong. For those curious what I've been up to lately, take a look at N I C K C Y C H A N and give me a comment below!
Christmas is by far my favourite holiday of the year. Not only do you experience festive cheer with your friends and family, but it's also the time of year when you're allowed to indulge in calorie-inducing pleasures that you won't actually feel guilty about because of the sweaters you've been dying to wear since summer. So it is with great pleasure that I bid farewell to bad tan lines and ab crunches and hello to weather-appropriate dressing!
With only days before New Year's, I decided to up my sweater game with a bit of texture while we're on the note of being over-indulgent. For one thing, I can only hope that 2015 can be the death of norm core, but I digress.

My trips to Osaka and Seoul have been nothing short of travelling to a shopaholic's heaven. Prices have definitely increased since my last visit but the clothes remain just as exciting - from your typical overhyped streetstyle items to unique, one-off pieces. I found this amazing sweater from a massive two-level boutique in the tree-lined district of Garosu-gil in Seoul. The faux-fur stole also came from the same store and whilst I had no idea how I'd use it under normal circumstances (which also goes for my sweater), I just had to have it no matter what.
Also debuting for the first time are my beloved Maison Martin Margiela Replica sneakers that I've been dying to feature since my trip to Paris last summer. Once again, they're not the type of shoes you'd wear 24/7 but as with everything I had on me that day, they were simply too beautiful to pass up.

Before I end up rambling on my travels and New Year's resolutions, I'll stop myself here to wish you all a lovely holiday and a happy new year! This may be my last post for 2014 but I promise that I'll have more exciting content here for 2015... Stay tuned!
